He went on to record with Eddie Money, Alice Cooper, Slash's Snakepit, The Corrs, Pat Benatar, Lisa Loeb, Richard Marx, Melissa Etheridge, and a lot more. We talk about Matt moving to LA, Studying at Musicians Institute, Getting the gig with Morrisette, Recording 'Jagged Little Pill,' His focus on song over chops, Working with Slash, His experience touring with AC/DC (as opening act with Slash's Snakepit) and getting to study Phil Rudd, and a lot more. Mike co-wrote 'The Real Slim Shady' for Eminem, is also responsible for co-writing hits like 50 Cent's 'In Da Club', The Game's 'Higher', and Eminem's 'Just Lose It,' as well as Producing Fiona Apple's 'Extraordinary Machine,' Gary Clark Jr's 'Black and Blu' album, and many other records for many other artists and bands you know.
